Designed, operated and maintained the entire keyboard, synthesizer and guitar system for Nine Inch Nails’ band member Alessandro Cortini over the course of two full world tours. The overall production required extensive programming and sound design for a large variety of synthesizers, keyboards, samplers, audio interfaces and controllers centered around Apple MainStage with heavy pre-production work achieved with Logic X, Ableton Live, & Avid Pro Tools.

2018 Nine Inch Nails (Private recording studio of Trent Reznor + Atticus Ross)
Assisted in all day to day studio operations encompassing audio engineering, creative sound design, composition, programming, sound library curation, studio maintenance, studio design, and real time problem solving. This role required direct support of well known musicians Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross to facilitate any ideas required for a given project while also allowing independent sound exploration to obtain a broad palette of new sounds. Credits obtained at this time include Nine Inch Nail’s album Bad Witch, the score for the film Bird Box and music for the television series The Watchmen.

2023 Le Tigre: World Tour
Helped re-launch the previously dormant live band with a custom playback/keyboard rig, with a special focus on having the band operate and control the show experience themselves from the stage position. This eliminated the need for a side-stage playback engineer, saving a significant amount of money while improving the experience for audience members with a more dynamic show.

Designed and operated a playback fly-rig for last minute surprise appearance of Till Lindemann at Heaven and Hell festival in Toluca Mexico. Purpose built rig was assembled within just one week notice and operated in less than ideal conditions. Project required a redundant flyable playback rig with MIDI program changes sent out to various guitar players for seamless timeline based patch changes.

Designed, operated and maintained a mission critical audio-backing track and video playback system for both band’s tours. Sound Design, Editing and Programming achieved with MainStage and Logic X. Complicated audio and video playback scenarios programmed with Q-Lab software that seamlessly tied in with many MainStage systems to support live performing musicians during shows.

Owned the entire audio-media space within Motorola’s Consumer Experience Design studio which included managing and designing a massive sound library of music, ringtones and user interface sounds. Media created was used both internally and across all Motorola hardware products shipped. Solely responsible for coordinating, creating, directing, bug tracking and implementing Motorola’s audio design language while working closely with marketing, QA, engineering, software and industrial design teams. Oversaw all aspects of audio media delivery from initial idea conception to tangible, globally shipping product. Simultaneously, explored creative and conceptual sound design ideas within the larger internal design team.
